As we step into 2026, we are reminded that every new year is not only a fresh start for our personal goals and ministry plans, but also a renewed opportunity to live out the love of Christ in practical ways. This year, PACT Missionaries invites every partner, supporter, and believer to intentionally set aside a gift, donation, or resource meant to uplift someone in need.
Giving is not only about abundance; it is about obedience, compassion, and faithfulness. Scripture teaches us that when we extend a hand to the poor, the broken, and the vulnerable, we are ministering directly to the Lord (Proverbs 19:17; Matthew 25:35-40). Even the smallest act of kindness, when done in love, carries eternal value.
In 2026, let us purpose to identify people in need and offer tangible help. This may be within your local community, at your congregation, in a nearby school, among inmates, widows, orphans, or even a struggling neighbor. Sometimes the need is financial, sometimes it is food, clothing, encouragement, prayer, or simply time and presence. God places opportunities around us daily. We only need eyes that see and hearts that respond.
We encourage you not to wait for large campaigns or special seasons to give. Make generosity a lifestyle. Set aside something intentionally, whether monthly, quarterly, or as the Lord leads and prayerfully ask God to direct you to the right person or cause. Let your giving be guided by love and wisdom, not convenience.
Most importantly, do not let the whole year pass without extending a hand to someone in need. Let 2026 be remembered as a year when compassion moved beyond words into action; a year when lives were touched, dignity was restored, and hope was rekindled through simple acts of obedience.
Together, let us be vessels of God’s grace, light, and mercy in our communities and beyond.
